Fun before the fall

right after taking this picture I turned around and heard a thump. I ran to the other side of the play equipment and Silas was lying on the ground crying. He had somehow fallen off the equipment. I had been allowing him to climb on the outside of the equipment and now I was thinking, man the other parents are now saying "I told you so. I can't believe she let him do that." Unfortunately, I may have been more concerned with what others were thinking then my child--who, just so you know, was fine. However, I find that this is so true for many areas of my life. I am so concerned about others that I lose site of what my real focus should be.
